Recreational Facilities

The Hall Porter is pleased to provide assistance and information for a range of activities, including recommendations for sightseeing and shopping, theatre and travel reservations, or information about the Club's facilities. There are a range of small toiletry items available for sale or loan at the Hall Porter's Desk.

There are a variety of public sports and leisure facilities located close-by and the Hall Porter will be happy to provide you with directions and further information.

Squash Courts and Changing Facilities

The Club has two squash courts which are available in half-hour bookings (45 minutes after 1700h) between 0800-2200 h.

Prior booking with the hall porter is essential. Cost is £3 per court for half an hour up to 17:30 and three quarters of an hour after that.

Members wishing only to change, and non-residential members and their guests may make use of the additional public bath and shower rooms located on the upper floors. Refurbished bathrooms are also available for changing and may be booked through reception at no cost.

Towels are available from either the Housekeeper or Hall Porter. The bathrooms are equipped with hairdryers, and trouser presses are also located in the corridors.

Other Facilities:

The Club does not have its own car parking facility but there is presently a discount facility at a nearby car park. Vouchers can be obtained at reception and should be presented at the time of payment.

There are also several areas in the Club where members and their guests can meet and relax: the Dining Room, Running Horse Pub, Cowdray Room, Club Bar and Library, each with its own individual appeal.
